Horus
Male Beluga Whale
Born July 2006 to Isis.
His sister/half-sister is Qila.
Located in the front pool at Friendship Cove.
Horus has a small white scratch on the top right side of his melon. He has a white mark above his right eye that looks like an eyebrow. Horus has a small circular marking on the left top side of his melon. He also has a small white mark just behind his left eye, one to the left of his blowhole and another one in the middle of those two.
Horus is a young beluga that really enjoys people, both his trainers and guests. He likes playing with bubble rings and watching people in the underwater viewing area. In 2009, he and Burnaby began learning how to do bows. Horus has had some health problems in recent months, but he is back swimming with the Friendship Cove pod now after a good recovery.
